The bio sauna behind glass and loungers in the spa at Nobi
Wellness · Taghazout Bay

Spa and hammam in Nobi Boutique Hotel

Resting at the pool edge in the afternoon light

Recovery, in sequence

The spa at Nobi is the quiet half of a week on Taghazout Bay, and it is built around moving between temperatures rather than settling into one. Heat opens everything up, cold closes it again, and the water in between is where the work actually happens.

There is a traditional hammam, a bio sauna, an ice bath and a warmed pool, with treatment rooms for massage and physiotherapy. Take them in order, leave time between each, and drink more water than you think you need.

Heat, cold and water

Two guests stretching on the benches of the bio sauna

The bio sauna

Gentler than a Finnish sauna and easier to stay in. Lower heat, a little more humidity, and light that shifts slowly while you sit.

The ice bath in the spa at Nobi, Taghazout Bay

The ice bath

Two minutes is plenty. Lower yourself in slowly, breathe out for longer than you breathe in, and come out before you want to.

Discover
The warmed indoor pool in the spa at Nobi near Taghazout

The warmed pool

Held close to body temperature, indoors and quiet. Somewhere to float between rounds of heat and cold rather than swim lengths.

Scrubbing with black soap and a kessa glove in the hammam
The ritual

The traditional hammam

Morocco's own ritual, kept the way it should be. Steam fills the room until the walls run with it. You scrub with black soap and a kessa glove, rinse, and sit until the heat has worked all the way through.

Allow an hour, and plan nothing immediately afterwards.

Good to know

Do I need to book?

Treatments are by appointment — message us or ask at reception, ideally the day before. The hammam, sauna, ice bath and pools do not need booking.

What should I bring?

Swimwear. Towels are provided in the spa, and there are changing rooms and showers on the same floor.

How long should I allow?

An hour and a half is comfortable for a full round of heat, cold and rest. A treatment on top of that needs its own time.

Is it suitable if I am pregnant or have a heart condition?

The hammam, sauna and ice bath are not advisable in either case. Speak to reception and we will point you to the treatments that are.
